Very emotionally intelligent and skilful surgeon. Lovely person too. Listened extremely well to my concerns and acted swiftly and effectively to further my treatment and address problems speedily. It would be great if email contact could be established with the consultant via their secretary which would be able to receive photographs to further exemplify what patients are trying to explain especially in the case of beast surgery. One improvement that could be made is to employ more consultants and provide them with a smaller list but that requires much more funding!!!!! I do feel the consultants are very well supported by their personal secretaries and Miss Rolph’s secretary echoes her efficiency and warm personality . General admin support for appointments could be helped to be more efficient and embrace the email world rather than waiting for the physical letter to be delivered by the royal mail with all the current delays.

Im only just 21 so being young I was scared to have surgery. However Miss Rolph mad eme and my nan, who was also having surgery, so comfortable. I feel at ease knowing she with be the doctor seeing me in May as well. Highly trust and recommend her.

I met Miss Rolph the day before my surgery, I was nervous because she was so young. But she was a very experienced surgeon, also she had my granddaughter for surgery the same day.I wish all surgeon's was like this lady,very reassuring and made you feel entirely at ease. I thank you Miss Rolph a superb doctor and a very nice lady.

I only encountered Rachel on 3 occasions and yet she made a huge impression. I am so pleased and grateful that I had the joy and benefit of having her as my surgeon. Throughout the whole process, her interpersonal manner gave me much needed assurance and put me at ease. Although under time restraints she did not rush appointments and gave me clear answers in unpatronizing language. Her ability to work well within the multi-disciplinary team involved in caring for me added another layer of blessing. Her skills as a surgeon surpassed my expectation – beautiful work! Thank you Rachel, for being kind and SO all-round good at your job!

I saw Dr Rachel Rolph along with the other members of the team today in the Breast clinic at the Princess Ann hospital in Southampton Dr Ralph was extremely kind and patient and listened to what I had to say about my findings .
